As we navigate through 2020, The Bridge has encountered new challenges as well as inspiring opportunities to continue serving our clients on their reintegration journeys.  Since fall 2019, The Bridge has been under the guidance of a new and energetic leadership team and a revived vision for restorative reintegration.  We have been working hard over several months at maintaining existing programs and creating new partnerships to enhance wraparound services to formally incarcerated people accessing our services.  Through the support of our donors and funders we have kept our Hamilton Transitional Housing Program running and maintained full capacity. In the past several months we have continued to connect with in-house and outreach clients through our weekly Meal-Based Programs.  Our Halton staff have also worked hard to build connections at Maplehurst Correctional Complex.  With the ongoing funding support of the Halton Region Community Investment Fund,  we have are partnering with service providers in Burlington, Oakville and Milton to extend our reintegration services to people exiting incarceration and seeking housing and community connection in the Halton Region.  Please visit our updated website to learn more about the various Hamilton and Halton specific programs currently offered through The Bridge.  We are thankful for our supportive network of donors and funders whose partnership allows us to continue offering vital services that enhance individual journeys towards safe and supported community reintegration after incarceration.
